I’ve watched the latter, multiple times, and to this day, I still fervently wish I could get my hands on that Lord of the Rings animatic that Pete put together in those early days.

Here’s a good and simple list of all the new features.
It’s reaching the point where you can make an entire 2d animation from start to finish in Photoshop, and I love it (now if only I was a 2d animator a not a 3d one)
